Overview
The Seachem DuoPad™ is a non-scratch, dual surface algae pad for glass & acrylic. The melamine foam side uses micro abrasive technology to easily remove algae from the sides of your aquarium, while the durable scrubbing side allows you to attack the rougher grooves of rocks and driftwood. It is particularly effective at removing algae from scratches. It is chemically inert and does not use soaps or detergents. It's white color contrasts against dark algae making it easier to see when areas are fully clean.
More on Melamine
Melamine foam is incredibly effective abrasive cleaner. It has a microstructure as hard as glass, but because of its open-cell structure it remains flexible. It performs on stains a lot like extremely fine sandpaper. In the aquarium, it easily removes algae by scraping with its extremely hard microscopic filaments.

Overview
aquavitro® surgical stainless steel coral cutters are primarily designed for use in marine aquariums, but can safely be used in freshwater as well. The blades are of surgical quality and are able to cut through thick coral with ease. They are ideal for fragging or otherwise trimming corals as necessary to maintain spacing, shape and overall design of a reef.
Ideal when trimming larger leaves and stems near the surface of the water where a shallow angle remains effective. In marine and reef aquaria these work very well in trimming soft coral with ease to maintain shape, spacing or to produce frags.
Preferable when planting in gravel substrate (as opposed to sand). In marine and reef systems these forceps work well in placing or retrieving coral frags or colonies.
