SEACHEM TANGANYIKA BUFFER 250 g
Overview
Tanganyika Buffer™ is a blend of carbonate salts designed to enhance the natural environment of cichlids by increasing alkalinity, carbonate hardness, buffer capacity, and pH. It is formulated to maintain a pH of 9.0–9.4. For optimum replication of the Tanganyikan environment, use with Cichlid Lake Salt™, Cichlid Trace™, and NutriDiet® Cichlid Flakes.
Directions
Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) for each 40–80 L (10 to 20 US gallons) of water each day until desired pH is attained and maintained. Thereafter, use as required to maintain pH, usually no more than once every two to three weeks.
TIPS: It is best to dissolve the buffer in freshwater before use. Use when setting up an aquarium or making water changes (preferably after the addition of Seachem’s Cichlid Lake Salt™) and between water changes as needed to maintain pH. Seachem’s Tanganyika Buffer™ is formulated to maintain a pH between 9.0 and 9.4, depending on the amount used. For lower pH, use Malawi/Victoria Buffer™ (pH 7.8–8.4), either alone or in combination with Tanganyika Buffer™.

Arowana Buffer™ adjusts pH to 6.5 from either a low or high pH and maintains it there for 2–4 weeks. It safely softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium. It also supports the ability of arowanas to resist infections. It is the buffer of choice for conditioning water for Asian Arowanas.
Directions
Use 1 level teaspoon for every 40 L (10 gallons) once or twice a month (or as necessary to maintain a pH of 6.5.) Arowana Buffer™ may be initially used daily in cases of high alkalinity until 6.5 is established. It may be added directly to the aquarium at any time. Ideally, it should be used when adding or changing water by dissolving in the replacement water.

Safe™ is the complete and super-concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Safe™ removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. It is non-acidic and will not impact pH. A further bonus for the reef hobbyist—Safe™ will not over-activate skimmers.
Safe™ may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. It contains a binder which renders ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate non-toxic, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water. When transporting or quarantining fish, use Seachem StressGuard™. When adding new fish, use Stability®. Both are ideal for use with Safe™.
Directions
May be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in an emergency, up to 4 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
50 gramUse 200 mg of Safe™ (included scoop) per each 200 L (50 US gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or per 50 L (13 US gallons) for ammonia. NOTE: These directions supersede all other prior packaging. All other sizesUse 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L (300 US gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L (75 US gallons) for ammonia. For precise dosing, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale. NOTE: These directions supersede all other prior packaging. | Overview
Reef Dip™ contains elemental iodine complexed to a protective slime coat for safely and gently disinfecting corals. It is effective against bacteria, fungus, and protozoans. It may be used prophylactically (without evidence of disease) or to remedy diseased specimens. It is safe to use with both stony and soft corals. It is also safe for anemones and polyps.
Reef Dip™ provides a protective slime coat complex that covers the coral, holding the iodine in contact with the infected site for extended periods of time. In addition, the slime coat prevents infection from re-rentering the site.
Directions
Do not use in the aquarium. Use in a separate container. Remove 4 L (1 US gallon) of water from the source aquarium to a container suitable for dipping. Add 5–10 mL (1–2 capfuls) of Reef Dip™ and mix. Place coral specimen in dip for 15–30 minutes, depending on severity of problem. In very severe cases, a double dose may be used. With clear and accessible lesions, dip concentrate may be painted on lesions directly before placing in dip. Observe animals during treatment for evidence of adverse reactions such as excessive sliming.

Reef Zooplankton™ is a concentrated blend of marine zooplankton designed to provide the essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, amino acids, with biological carotenoids for coral growth. The particle size range is 12.5-500 μm to feed a broad range of marine aquarium inhabitants.
Reef Zooplankton™ contains a natural source of carotenoids which provides essential proteins as well as a more bioavailable source of pigmentation when compared to other natural sources and synthetic pigments. Carotenoids provide the extra benefit of antioxidant activity.
In addition, Reef Zooplankton™ is enhanced to increase the bioavailability of important nutrients such as proteins, lipids, B vitamins, and other organic pigments, thus, corals expend less energy to derive the nutritional benefit. It is blended to contain proper ratio of fatty acids, carbohydrates, and proteins.
Directions
Shake well before using. Add 1 capful (5 mL) per 200 L (50 US gallons) of water twice weekly or as required to maintain coral growth. For best results, dose directly to aquarium; target feeding can overwhelm corals and have a negative impact. Refrigeration after opening is recommended, but not required.

Pristine™ uses bio-augmentation, a non-chemical and natural method, to improve water quality. It provides bacteria that break down excess food, waste and detritus in freshwater and marine systems. It will also reduce excess nutrients (e.g. ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites) that may fuel the growth of nuisance and disease-causing organisms. Pristine™ increases water clarity and promotes overall better health for the aquatic environment.
The species of bacteria in Pristine™ are a unique blend, specifically developed for hardiness and their ability to adapt to a wide variety of environmental conditions.Directions
Shake well before use. Turn off UV/ozone. Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 40 L (10 US gallons). Then use a maintenance dose of 1 capful (5 mL) per 80 L (20 US gallons) with additions of livestock or the disruption of the biofilter through cleaning or medications. Antibiotics should be removed with fresh carbon and a water change before adding bacteria. Allow 2 or 3 days for the bacteria to become established before using UV sterilizers or ozone. Recurring problems with high nutrients can indicate overstocking, overfeeding or inadequate filtration.
